.NOW...
...PATCHY DENSE FOG ACROSS THE AREA...

LIGHT WINDS IN THE WAKE OF RECENT RAINS WAS ALLOWING SOME FOG TO
FORM ACROSS THE AREA. ALTHOUGH MOST REPORTING SITES AT AIRPORTS
WERE REPORTING VISIBILITIES OF AT LEAST A MILE...THE FOG WAS
DENSE AND REDUCING VISIBILITIES BELOW 1/4 MILE AT FEW LOCATIONS.

ANYONE TRAVELING EARLY THIS MORNING SHOULD BE ALERT FOR THE
POSSIBILITY OF ENCOUNTERING PATCHY DENSE FOG. FOG BANKS ARE MOST
LIKELY TO FORM IN LOW-LYING AREAS AND NEAR RIVERS AND STREAMS. IF
YOU ENCOUNTER A FOG BANK WHILE DRIVING...SLOW YOUR VEHICLE TO THE
POINT WHERE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SAFELY STOP IF YOU ENCOUNTER AN
OBJECT OR ANIMAL ON THE ROAD. ALWAYS USE LOW-BEAM HEADLIGHTS WHEN
DRIVING IN FOG.
