THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS ISSUED A HEAT
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 6 PM EDT THURSDAY.

* HEAT INDEX VALUES...UP TO 107 DUE TO TEMPERATURES IN THE MID
  TO UPPER 90S...AND DEWPOINTS IN THE LOWER 70S.

* TIMING...THE HIGHEST HEAT INDICES WILL OCCUR DURING THE EARLY
  AND MID AFTERNOON HOURS.

* IMPACTS...THE COMBINATION OF HEAT AND HUMIDITY WILL MAKE FOR
  DANGEROUS CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY OUTSIDE IN THE DIRECT SUN AND
  IN NON AIR CONDITIONED HOMES AND BUSINESSES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE EXTRA PRECAUTIONS IF YOU WORK OR SPEND TIME OUTSIDE. WHEN
POSSIBLE...RESCHEDULE STRENUOUS ACTIVITIES TO EARLY MORNING OR
EVENING. KNOW THE SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF HEAT EXHAUSTION AND HEAT
STROKE. WEAR LIGHT WEIGHT AND LOOSE FITTING CLOTHING WHEN
