Service Area this afternoon. These storms will bring anywhere
from a few hundredths of an inch across southeastern Connecticut
and Long Island to four tenths of an inch farther north and west,
with higher amounts possible. Little to no change is expected in
the current stage of area rivers and streams.

(12z to 12z) 8am to 8am edt(7am to 7am est) plus the
forecasted rainfall through 12z (8am edt or 7am est) the following
day. In addition, runoff due to snowmelt is included in the
forecast during the cold season. stage forecasts are provided
by the northeast and middle atlantic river forecast centers.

During periods of high water or flooding, crest forecast updates
can be obtained in river flood warnings (flwokx - wgus41 kokx)
