NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AMARILLO TX
1120 AM CDT SAT MAY 23 2015

For the North Fork Of The Red River...the following locations are
included...Shamrock 2N.

.Three to five inches of rain have fallen upstream of the gage
site. An additional inch or more is expected. The runoff from the
heavy rain is expected to cause a  significant rise on the river. The
river is expected to rise to around 4.5 feet by around 100 PM this
afternoon.

For the North Fork Of The Red River At 2 miles north of Shamrock
...the latest stage is 3.8 feet at 1045 AM Saturday. At 5.0
feet...flood stage...Water begins to spread out over the 0.2 mile
floodplain. Cattle grazing in flood plain should have access to
higher ground. Minor farm land flooding begins to occur a few miles
downstream from gage site.

For the Wolf Creek...the following locations are included...Lipscomb.

.One to two inches of rain have fallen upstream of the gage
site. An additional inch is expected. The runoff from the heavy
rain is expected to cause a significant rise on the creek The
creek is expected to rise to around 6.6 feet by early Sunday
morning. Flood stage is 9.5 feet.

For the Wolf Creek At Lipscomb...the latest stage is 5.5 feet at 930
AM Saturday.

Spearman 6W.

.One to three inches of rain have fallen upstream of the gage
site. An additional inch is expected. The runoff from the heavy rain
is expected to cause a significant rise on the creek. The
creek is expected to rise to around 15 feet by eary this evening.
Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

For the Palo Duro Creek 6 miles west of Spearman...the latest
stage is 2.7 feet at 830 AM Saturday.
