.Heavy rain from last night caused a significant rise on the river
this morning. The river crested at 4 feet at 5:15 am. The river has
fallen to below 2 feet and is expected to stay near a normal stage
unless more heavy rain develops.

For the North Fork Of The Red River At Shamrock 2N.
* Latest stage: 1.6 feet at 3 PM Friday.
* Flood stage: 5.0 feet.
* Bankfull stage: 4.0 feet.

This will be the last product issued for (RIVER/CREEK) for this
event.

Kelton 5N.

.Runoff from heavy rain last night caused a significant rise in the
creek. The creek crested at 13.7 feet at 12:30 pm. The creek is
expected to slowly fall to around 11 feet by Saturday morning.  11
feet is bankfull. At stages above bankfull water will overflow its
natural banks and cattle near the creek will be affected.

For the Sweetwater Creek Near Kelton 5N.
* Latest stage: 13.4 feet at 3 PM Friday.
* Flood stage: 18.0 feet.
* Bankfull stage: 11.0 feet.

Caution is urged near riverbanks. Be alert for fast flowing water in
the creek.

* Flood stage: 5.0 feet.
* Bankfull stage: 4.0 feet.
At 5.0 feet...Water begins to spread out over the 0.2 mile
floodplain. Cattle grazing in flood plain should have access to
higher ground. Minor farm land flooding begins to occur a few miles
downstream from gage site.
