The Sac River near Caplinger Mills is expected to drop from
12.4 feet this evening to 8.6 feet Wednesday morning. Additional
releases from Stockton Dam are expected with an additional rise
in river levels throughout the day on Wednesday. A crest of
14.1 feet...which is 1.9 feet below the flood stage of 16 feet
is expected by Wednesday evening.  River levels are then expected
to fall below 14 feet by early Thursday.
