MINNESOTA AND PORTIONS OF WISCONSIN. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 3/4 TO 1 3/4
INCHES WERE SEEN FROM NORTHEAST IOWA INTO SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA
AND THEN INTO WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN...WITH LIGHTER AMOUNTS
ELSEWHERE. A LITTLE LIGHT SNOW WAS EVEN NOTED ACROSS NORTHERN
WISCONSIN. THE OVERNIGHT LOWS RANGED IN THE UPPER 30S TO LOWER 40S.

SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE INTO THE AFTERNOON ACROSS WISCONSIN...ILLINOIS
AND THE EASTERN PORTIONS OF MINNESOTA AND IOWA. THE HIGHER AMOUNTS
WILL BE MOSTLY ACROSS WISCONSIN AND ILLINOIS. SHOWERS WILL THEN
TAPER OFF FROM THE WEST THIS EVENING AND AFTER MIDNIGHT WILL BE

TEMPERATURES DID NOT FALL MUCH OVERNIGHT DUE TO THE CLOUD COVER
AND WARMER AIR MOVING IN FROM THE SOUTH. LOWS WERE MAINLY IN THE
UPPER 30S IN WESTERN WISCONSIN TO THE LOW 40S IN NORTHEAST IOWA
AND SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA.

RAIN WILL PERSIST FOR MUCH OF THE DAY AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM
LIFTS UP INTO THE REGION. THIS RAIN WILL EXIT FROM WEST TO EAST BY
THIS AFTERNOON WHEN THE SYSTEM REACHES THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER.

LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS WERE SEEN ACROSS PARTS OF SOUTHWEST
WISCONSIN...NORTHEAST IOWA AND SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA THIS MORNING OUT
AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT. BY MID AFTERNOON THE FRONT WAS
MOVING ON TO EASTERN WISCONSIN...ENDING THE RAIN CHANCES FOR THE TRI
STATE REGION. MID AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WERE GENERALLY IN THE
MIDDLE TO UPPER 60S.

MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES WILL PREVAIL ACROSS THE AREA TONIGHT...AS HIGH
PRESSURE BUILDS INTO CENTRAL MINNESOTA. LOW TEMPERATURES ARE
EXPECTED TO FALL INTO THE MIDDLE 30S TO AROUND 40 DEGREES.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN DOMINANT ON TUESDAY. AS A RESULT WE CAN
EXPECT SUNNY SKIES BUT COOLER CONDITIONS. HIGHS ON TUESDAY ARE
EXPECTED TO RISE ONLY INTO THE UPPER 50S TO AROUND 60 REGION WIDE.
