After morning lows in the 50s highs will reach into the low to mid
70s with increasing chances of showers and thunderstorms as the
afternoon wears on. Most likely area to see rainfall today will be
across the lakes and pines of Minnesota.

Heading into the weekend, even though chances for scattered showers
and thunderstorms will continue, there will be more periods of dry
than wet, with highs rising from the 70s on Saturday into the low
80s in some areas by Memorial Day.

It will be a little warmer today with high temperatures mostly in
the seventies. High temperatures will stay in the seventies through
Saturday. Otherwise...Seventies and some eighties are forecast for
Sunday and Monday.

A more active weather pattern is expected for the next few days.
Showers and thunderstorms are forecast for later this afternoon and
evening through Saturday. The best chances for rain will be Friday
and Saturday over northwest Minnesota.
