WEATHER SUMMARY FOR SOUTHEASTERN NY...NORTHEASTERN NJ AND

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEW YORK NY
430 AM EDT TUE APR 15 2014

A SLOW MOVING COLD FRONT APPROACHES THE REGION TODAY WITH SHOWERS
DEVELOPING AND MOVING ACROSS THE REGION. SOME OF THESE MAY BE
LOCALLY HEAVY AT TIMES. AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM CANNOT BE RULED

IN ADDITION...AREAS OF FOG WILL BE AROUND INTO THIS EVENING.

THE FRONT MOVES ACROSS THE REGION THIS EVENING WITH COLDER AIR
FOLLOWING BEHIND IT...ALLOWING FOR PRECIPITATION TO END AS SNOW
SHOWERS BEFORE COMING TO AN END. MOST OF THESE SNOW SHOWERS WILL
BE NORTH AND WEST OF NEW YORK CITY. DRIER AND COOLER WEATHER WILL
THEN PROCEED FOR WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT AS CANADIAN HIGH
