BLUSTERY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THURSDAY WITH
SUSTAINED FLOW AROUND 25 MPH AND GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH.

COMBINED WITH HIGH PRESSURE...CLEAR CONDITIONS...AND DRIER AIR
BUILDING ACROSS THE REGION...RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES WILL FALL
DOWN TO OR BELOW 30 PERCENT OVER MUCH OF SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND /THE
LOWEST ACROSS THE CONNECTICUT RIVER VALLEY/ RESULTING IN THE
DEVELOPMENT OF FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS FAVORABLE FOR FIRE SPREAD.

YET PER DISCUSSION WITH STATE FIRE-WEATHER OFFICIALS...LIGHT
SURFACE FUELS WILL BE SLOW TO RECOVER DUE TO RECENT RAINS AS WELL
AS CLOUDY AND COOL CONDITIONS SUBSEQUENTLY LIMITING THE FIRE
WEATHER RISK.

WE WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE SITUATION AS IT DEVELOPS OVERNIGHT
