NIGHT. MILD TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE ON HALLOWEEN, WITH STRONG
SOUTH WINDS GUSTING NEAR 40 MPH THROUGH HALLOWEEN EVENING. WITH A
SLOWER STORM ARRIVAL, IT IS NOW EXPECTED MOST OF NORTHERN NEVADA
WILL REMAIN DRY THROUGH 11 PM FRIDAY.

AN INTENSE COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP THROUGH NEVADA EARLY SATURDAY
MORNING, REACHING THE ELKO/SPRING CREEK AREAS JUST BEFORE SUNRISE.
A PERIOD OF HEAVY SNOW IS EXPECTED ACROSS NORTHERN NEVADA FOR
SEVERAL HOURS SATURDAY MORNING, WITH QUICK ACCUMULATIONS ON MAINLY
GRASSY AND ELEVATED SURFACES. THE HEAVY SNOW WILL ONLY LAST 3 TO 6
HOURS AT ANY ONE LOCATION, LIMITING THE TIME FOR SNOW TO
