...MIXED PRECIPITATION EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY
THURSDAY...

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM PASSING SOUTH OF WISCONSIN LATE TONIGHT AND
EARLY THURSDAY WILL RESULT IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF LIGHT
PRECIPITATION...ESPECIALLY AFTER MIDNIGHT THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY
MORNING. AT THIS TIME THE PRECIPITATION LOOKS TO BE MAINLY PATCHY
DRIZZLE OR PATCHY FREEZING DRIZZLE.

VERY LIGHT RAIN...VERY LIGHT FREEZING RAIN...SLEET AND SOME LIGHT
SNOW ARE ALL POSSIBLE...BUT EXPECTED AMOUNTS ARE LOOKING TO BE
LOWER THAN PREVIOUS FORECAST GUIDANCE WAS INDICATING AND LOOK TO
FOCUS MORE ON THE CENTRAL PORTION OF THE STATE.

WARM AIR JUST OFF THE SURFACE HAS SURGED IN AHEAD OF THE LOW...SO
UNTIL THE LOW PASSES TO OUR EAST THERE WILL BE THE POTENTIAL FOR
THIS MIXED PRECIPITATION. ONCE THE LOW PASSES EARLY THURSDAY
MORNING...THERE WILL BE A CHANGEOVER TO A BRIEF PERIOD OF LIGHT
SNOW. HOWEVER LITTLE IF ANY SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED.

IF YOU HAVE TRAVEL PLANS FOR THE OVERNIGHT INTO EARLY THURSDAY
USE CAUTION SHOULD YOU ENCOUNTER ANY FREEZING DRIZZLE OR MIXED
PRECIPITATION.
