...SNOW EXPECTED OVER THE SOUTH WASHINGTON AND NORTH AND CENTRAL
OREGON CASCADES THIS WEEKEND...

147 PM PST THU NOV 20 2014

...ONE MORE CHANCE OF FREEZING RAIN IN THE UPPER HOOD RIVER VALLEY
AND CENTRAL COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE ON FRIDAY...

ANOTHER SURGE OF MOISTURE WILL SPREAD IN ACROSS THE UPPER HOOD
RIVER VALLEY AND CENTRAL COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE FRIDAY AFTERNOON
AND FRIDAY NIGHT. SOME EAST WIND MAY PERSIST THROUGH FRIDAY
MORNING INTO FRIDAY AFTERNOON...ALLOWING A FEW POCKETS OF
FREEZING RAIN TO OCCUR. THE AIR MASS IN THE CENTRAL COLUMBIA RIVER
GORGE AND THE UPPER HOOD RIVER VALLEY IS ALREADY IN A VERY SLOW
PROCESS OF MODERATING...SO THE FREEZING RAIN MAY BE BRIEF AND
QUITE LOCALIZED...AND CONFIDENCE IN ACCUMULATING VERY MUCH
FREEZING RAIN IS NOT VERY HIGH. MODERATING WEST WINDS WILL PUSH
THROUGH THE COLUMBIA GORGE AND EAST OF THE CASCADES FRIDAY EVENING
AS A COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH...AND THIS WILL BRING AN END TO
THE CURRENT COLD SPELL IN THE AREA.
