A WEATHER SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER THE NORTHERN PACIFIC
AND THEN MOVE INTO THE GULF OF ALASKA. STRONG GUSTY WINDS ALONG
THE PANHANDLE AND THE OUTER COASTAL WATERS ARE EXPECTED THURSDAY
NIGHT INTO FRIDAY.

HEAVY RAINS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES ARE ALSO POSSIBLE AS THE FRONT MOVES
THROUGH SOUTHEAST ALASKA. RIVERS AND STREAMS LEVELS ARE LOW TO
NORMAL ALTHOUGH RAPID RISES ARE LIKELY.

THE SITUATION WILL CONTINUE TO BE MONITORED AS THE TIME TO THE
EVENT SHORTENS.
