WEST OF THE MISSOURI RIVER VALLEY LATE TONIGHT AND THROUGH THE
MORNING HOURS ON FRIDAY. LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL RANGE IN
THE LOW TO MID 30S. HIGH TEMPERATURES ON FRIDAY WILL WARM INTO THE
50S.

FRIDAY WILL BE DRY ACROSS THE REGION. HOWEVER CHANCES FOR LIGHT
RAIN WILL RETURN WESTERN AND SOUTHERN SOUTH DAKOTA FRIDAY NIGHT.

THIS EVENING...DRY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED AS HIGH PRESSURE BEGINS
TO INFLUENCE THE REGION. ANOTHER LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE
INTO THE AREA FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY...WITH RAINFALL FORECAST

SHOULD ALLOW RAIN TO MIX WITH OR CHANGE OVER TO SNOW OVER
PORTIONS OF THE LISTENING AREA...WITH LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS
POSSIBLE BY MID MORNING THURSDAY. DRIER CONDITIONS CAN BE
EXPECTED THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY...BUT ANOTHER LOW PRESSURE

HILLS REGION. THE PRECIPITATION WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE DAY
WEDNESDAY AND INTO MUCH OF THE DAY THURSDAY. THE HIGHEST RAINFALL
AMOUNTS WILL RANGE FROM ONE TO TWO AND A HALF INCHES ACROSS MUCH
OF CENTRAL AND SOUTHEASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA...WITH SEVERAL INCHES OF
SNOW EXPECTED IN THE BLACK HILLS.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 20S ACROSS
NORTHERN MINNESOTA...TO THE UPPER 40S ACROSS SOUTHEASTERN SOUTH

PRECIPITATION WILL INCREASE IN AREAL COVERAGE AND INTENSITY
OVERNIGHT AND DURING THE DAY WEDNESDAY AS THE STORM SYSTEM OVER
THE PLAINS INTENSIFIES. WIDESPREAD RAINFALL WILL AFFECT THE AREA
WITH AMOUNTS OVER 1 TO 2 INCHES COMMON...WITH LESSER AMOUNTS OVER
FAR NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA. THIS STORM SYSTEM WILL SLOWLY EXIT THE
REGION WITH LINGERING SHOWERS REMAINING ON THURSDAY. COOL
TEMPERATURES WILL STAY IN THE REGION THROUGH THE WEEK...WITH YET
ANOTHER RAIN PRODUCING STORM SYSTEM SET TO AFFECT THE AREA THIS
WEEKEND.
