REGION OVER THE NEXT COUPLE DAYS. FOR TODAY...WARM TEMPERATURES
ARE FORECAST ACROSS THE AREA WITH HIGHS IN THE 80S FOR MOST
LOCATIONS. TONIGHT...A WAVE OF LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE NORTHEAST
INTO THE AREA WITH A GOOD CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.
SOME STORMS COULD BE ON THE STRONG SIDE WITH GUSTY WINDS.
CONDITIONS WILL BECOME A BIT MORE HUMID ON WEDNESDAY AS A WARM
FRONT PUSHES NORTH OF THE AREA. SHOWERS AND STORMS ARE ONCE AGAIN
POSSIBLE ALONG WITH THE THREAT FOR STRONG TO MARGINALLY SEVERE
STORMS.

A FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO PUSH ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA THIS MORNING
WITH RAIN AND A FEW RUMBLES OF THUNDER. MOST PRECIPITATION WILL PASS
INTO MINNESOTA BY MID DAY...WITH DRIER AND WARMER AIR TO FOLLOW ON A
LIGHT WEST BREEZE. WE WILL REMAIN IN AN INCLEMENT WEATHER PATTERN
THROUGH THE NEXT FEW DAYS WITH ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR MOISTURE
WHILE TEMPERATURES RUN A FEW DEGREES ABOVE AVERAGE.

READINGS WILL TOP OUT IN THE UPPER 70S AND LOW 80S TODAY...WITH
TEMPERATURES DIPPING INTO THE 50S TONIGHT.

COLD FRONT. THESE WINDS WILL BRING IN A MORE HUMID AIR MASS
WHICH...IF WE SEE SOME CLEARING...WILL RESULT IN AFTERNOON
THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT. STORMS COULD BE SEVERE WITH THE MAIN
RISK AREA THIS AFTERNOON BEING THE MISSOURI VALLEY...SHIFTING
EAST THROUGH THE EVENING AND EARLY OVERNIGHT HOURS. STORMS WILL
LIKELY WEAKEN OVERNIGHT WITH WIDESPREAD RAIN FOR EASTERN SOUTH
DAKOTA. WINDS BEHIND THE FRONT WILL BE NOTICEABLY WEAKER...ALONG
WITH A DROP IN HUMIDITY.

TEMPERATURES WILL TOP OUT IN THE 70S AGAIN TODAY...WITH READINGS
FALLING INTO THE 50S OVERNIGHT.
