RAINFALL. SOME MINOR FLOODING IS POSSIBLE IN THE

* At 9 AM Thursday the stage was 3.0 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 7.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by late this evening and crest
  near 8.7 feet by overnight tonight. The river will fall below flood
  stage by tomorrow morning.
* Impact...At 7.5 feet...Portions of the Seneca Creek Greenway are
  flooded. A small portion of Berryville Road west of Darnestown
  begins to flood.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 8.8 feet
  on Jul 31 2016.

* Flood Warning for
  The Opequon Creek near Martinsburg.
* From Friday morning until late Saturday night.
* At 9 AM Thursday the stage was 3.4 feet and steady.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow morning and crest
  near 12.1 feet by early tomorrow evening. The river will fall below
  flood stage by late Saturday evening.
* Impact...At 12.5 feet...The creek is well out of its banks.
  Portions of Stonebridge Golf Club are flooded. Golf Course Road
  /County Road 36/ is flooded near the Stone Bridge. Fields and
  backyards near the creek are flooded and some residents may need to
  move items to higher ground. Several other roads are flooded,
  including Grapevine Road, Douglas Grove Road, and Paynes Ford Road.
  Backwater flooding is occurring on small tributaries, including
  Tuscarora Creek.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.0 feet
  on Feb 1 2013.
