...STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS IN PARTS OF THE DESERT THROUGH THIS
EVENING...

.STRONG GUSTY WINDS WILL CONTINUE IN THE DESERTS THROUGH THIS
EVENING. THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL OCCUR THROUGH AND EAST OF THE
SAN GORGONIO PASS AND IN THE ANZA BORREGO DESERT. WINDS WILL
DECREASE A BIT THIS MORNING...BUT WILL PICK UP AGAIN THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

...WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM PDT THIS EVENING...

* WINDS...WESTERLY 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 50 MPH. ISOLATED TOP
  GUSTS TO 60 MPH THROUGH AND JUST EAST OF SAN GORGONIO PASS.

* VISIBILITY...LOCALLY REDUCED TO 2 MILES OR LESS IN BLOWING DUST
  OR SAND.

* IMPACTS...DIFFICULT DRIVING CONDITIONS PARTICULARLY ALONG INTERSTATE
  10 NORTH OF PALM SPRINGS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT WINDS OF 35 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS
THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH
PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION.
