U.S. High Seas Marine Text Forecasts by Area

As of June 30, 2017, The High Seas Forecast for METAREA XVI (E Pacific from 3.4S to 18.35S E of 120W) is prepared and disseminated by the Directorate of Hydrography and Navigation of the
Navy of Peru.
U.S. high seas marine text forecasts are prepared cooperatively by the Ocean
Prediction Center(OPC), National Hurricane
Center(NHC) and Honolulu
Forecast Office(HFO). The map above contains the description for each of
these high seas forecast areas. Several high seas forecast products combine these areas.
