IMPORTANT NOTICE TO MARINERS...MARINE FORECASTS ARE ISSUED AT LEAST FOUR TIMES A DAY. BOATERS ON EXTENDED TRIPS SHOULD ROUTINELY MONITOR SUBSEQUENT FORECAST ISSUANCES AND UPDATES FOR THE LATEST MARINE WEATHER INFORMATION. THE WAVE HEIGHTS ARE FORECAST AS SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT WHICH IS THE AVERAGE OF THE HIGHEST ONE-THIRD OF THE WAVES. THE HIGHEST WAVES MAY RARELY BE TWICE THE SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT. THE WINDS AND SEAS NEAR THUNDERSTORMS MAY BE HIGHER THAN FORECAST.

Synopsis...HIGH PRESSURE NORTH OF THE WATERS WILL SLOWLY SINK SOUTH INTO THE REGION THROUGH THE FIRST HALF OF THE WEEK. A TIGHT PRESSURE GRADIENT ALONG THE SOUTHERN EDGE OF THIS HIGH PRESSURE WILL KEEP WINDS AT CAUTIONARY LEVELS OFFSHORE THROUGH EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. ANOTHER EASTERLY SURGE TONIGHT COULD BRIEFLY BRING WINDS BACK UP TO CAUTIONARY LEVELS. BY MID TO LATE WEEK...HIGH PRESSURE WILL GRADUALLY BUILD IN OVER THE WATERS...WITH IMPROVING WINDS AND SEAS.

Wednesday: Variable winds less than 5 km/h becoming W 9 to 14 km/h in the morning. Sunny. Seas 1 m or less.

Wednesday Night: WNW wind 10 to 18 km/h. Partly cloudy. Seas 1 m or less.

Thursday: W wind 8 to 16 km/h becoming SSW in the morning. Mostly sunny. Seas 1 m or less.

Thursday Night: W wind 13 to 18 km/h becoming SSE after midnight. Partly cloudy. Seas 1 m or less.

Friday: S wind 18 to 27 km/h. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. Seas 1 m or less.

Friday Night: S wind 18 to 23 km/h becoming SE after midnight. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 8pm, then scattered showers and thunderstorms between 8pm and 2am. Seas 1 m or less.

Saturday: SE wind 18 to 23 km/h becoming S in the afternoon. Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Seas 1 m or less.

Saturday Night: S wind 21 to 27 km/h becoming ESE in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 35 km/h. Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Seas 1 m or less.
