Synopsis...GREATER FARALLONES...AND CORDELL BANK NATIONAL MARINE SANCTUARIES...

HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE EASTERN PACIFIC WILL MAINTAIN A STRONG SURFACE PRESSURE GRADIENT ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS. STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS EXPECTED THROUGH MUCH OF THE WEEK WITH THE STRONGEST WINDS ANTICIPATED OVER THE OFFSHORE WATERS AND ALONG THE BIG SUR COAST. THE STRONG WINDS WILL PRODUCE A FRESH SWELL.

Overnight: N wind around 9 kt. Partly cloudy.

Wednesday: NNE wind 5 to 10 kt becoming WNW in the afternoon. Mostly sunny.

Wednesday Night: W wind around 6 kt becoming variable and less than 5 kt. Partly cloudy.

Thursday: ESE wind 5 to 14 kt becoming S in the afternoon. A chance of rain after 4pm.

Thursday Night: S wind around 12 kt, with gusts as high as 18 kt. Rain likely, mainly between 10pm and 4am.

Friday: SSE wind 7 to 12 kt becoming ENE in the afternoon. A chance of rain before 10am.

Friday Night: NE wind 5 to 7 kt. Mostly cloudy.

Saturday: ENE wind 6 to 8 kt becoming S in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy.

Saturday Night: SW wind 8 to 12 kt, with gusts as high as 18 kt. A chance of rain.
