Synopsis...GREATER FARALLONES...AND CORDELL BANK NATIONAL MARINE SANCTUARIES...

HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE EASTERN PACIFIC WILL MAINTAIN A STRONG SURFACE PRESSURE GRADIENT ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS. STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS EXPECTED THROUGH MUCH OF THE WEEK WITH THE STRONGEST WINDS ANTICIPATED OVER THE OFFSHORE WATERS AND ALONG THE BIG SUR COAST. THE STRONG WINDS WILL PRODUCE A FRESH SWELL.

Overnight: W wind around 7 kt, with gusts as high as 34 kt. Clear.

Thursday: W wind 8 to 11 kt becoming NNW in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 28 kt. Sunny.

Thursday Night: NNW wind 9 to 13 kt, with gusts as high as 40 kt. Mostly clear.

Friday: NNW wind 13 to 16 kt, with gusts as high as 39 kt. Sunny.

Friday Night: WNW wind 6 to 13 kt, with gusts as high as 23 kt. Clear.

Saturday: NW wind 6 to 9 kt, with gusts as high as 23 kt. Sunny.

Saturday Night: W wind 7 to 10 kt. Clear.

Sunday: W wind 7 to 12 kt becoming NW in the morning. Sunny.

Sunday Night: WSW wind 9 to 12 kt, with gusts as high as 19 kt. Mostly clear.
