Synopsis...HIGH PRESSURE EAST OF NEW ENGLAND WILL SLOWLY MOVE FURTHER OFFSHORE TODAY. A COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE WEST TONIGHT AND CROSSES THE WATERS LATE TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT. HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN FROM THE WEST ON WEDNESDAY, THEN A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TRACKS SOUTH OF LONG ISLAND THURSDAY INTO THURSDAY NIGHT. HIGH PRESSURE RETURNS ON FRIDAY.

Overnight: Variable winds 5 kt or less. Showers likely, mainly after 4am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Saturday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming W 5 to 10 kt in the morning. Showers, mainly before 11am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Saturday Night: W wind 9 to 12 kt becoming NW in the evening. Mostly clear. Seas around 1 ft.

Sunday: WNW wind 9 to 11 kt becoming WSW in the afternoon. Mostly sunny. Seas around 1 ft.

Sunday Night: WSW wind 8 to 10 kt becoming WNW after midnight. Partly cloudy. Seas around 1 ft.

Monday: WNW wind 7 to 11 kt. Sunny. Seas around 1 ft.

Monday Night: WNW wind 6 to 8 kt becoming NE after midnight. Mostly clear. Seas 1 ft or less.
