Synopsis...HIGH PRESSURE EAST OF NEW ENGLAND WILL SLOWLY MOVE FURTHER OFFSHORE TODAY. A COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE WEST TONIGHT AND CROSSES THE WATERS LATE TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT. HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN FROM THE WEST ON WEDNESDAY, THEN A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TRACKS SOUTH OF LONG ISLAND THURSDAY INTO THURSDAY NIGHT. HIGH PRESSURE RETURNS ON FRIDAY.

Today: NE wind 18 to 23 km/h becoming SE 11 to 16 km/h in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 34 km/h. Sunny. Seas 1 m or less.

Tonight: S wind 13 to 18 km/h becoming variable and less than 5 km/h. Clear. Seas 1 m or less.

Friday: N wind 8 to 11 km/h becoming SSE 11 to 14 km/h in the afternoon. Sunny. Seas 1 m or less.

Friday Night: S wind 13 to 18 km/h becoming SSW 8 to 11 km/h after midnight. Mostly clear. Seas 1 m or less.

Saturday: S wind 8 to 13 km/h increasing to 16 to 21 km/h in the afternoon. Partly sunny. Seas 1 m or less.
