TODAY. A COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE WEST TONIGHT AND CROSSES THE
WATERS LATE TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT. HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN FROM
THE WEST ON WEDNESDAY, THEN A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TRACKS SOUTH OF
LONG ISLAND THURSDAY INTO THURSDAY NIGHT. HIGH PRESSURE RETURNS ON
FRIDAY.
This Afternoon: W wind around 15 kt, with gusts as high as 21 kt. A chance of snow showers before 1pm, then a chance of rain and snow showers between 1pm and 4pm, then a chance of sprinkles after 4pm. Seas 1 to 2 ft.
Tonight: W wind 10 to 13 kt becoming NW 5 to 8 kt after midnight. Partly cloudy. Seas around 1 ft.
Friday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming SSE around 6 kt in the afternoon. Mostly sunny. Seas around 1 ft.
