Synopsis...HIGH PRESSURE EAST OF NEW ENGLAND WILL SLOWLY MOVE FURTHER OFFSHORE TODAY. A COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE WEST TONIGHT AND CROSSES THE WATERS LATE TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT. HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN FROM THE WEST ON WEDNESDAY, THEN A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TRACKS SOUTH OF LONG ISLAND THURSDAY INTO THURSDAY NIGHT. HIGH PRESSURE RETURNS ON FRIDAY.

Overnight: Variable winds 5 kt or less. Mostly clear. Seas 1 ft or less.

Saturday: Variable winds 5 kt or less. Sunny. Seas 1 ft or less.

Saturday Night: S wind around 6 kt becoming variable and less than 5 kt after midnight. Mostly clear. Seas 1 ft or less.

Sunday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming S 5 to 10 kt in the morning. Sunny. Seas 1 ft or less.

Sunday Night: SSW wind 9 to 11 kt. A chance of showers after 2am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Monday: SSW wind 6 to 9 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, y luego showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 8am. Seas 1 ft or less.
