Synopsis...HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED ACROSS NORTH CAROLINA WILL EXPAND INTO THE WESTERN ATLANTIC OCEAN THIS AFTERNOON...REMAINING IN PLACE TONIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY...BEFORE SLIDING SOUTH AND WEAKENING A BIT TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THE END OF THIS WEEK.

15 NM SOUTH OF DRY TORTUGAS LIGHT...ON LOGGERHEAD KEY. 13 NM SOUTH OF COSGROVE SHOAL LIGHT...OFF THE MARQUESAS KEYS. 13 NM SOUTH OF SAND KEY LIGHT...OFF KEY WEST. 14 NM SOUTH OF LOOE KEY...OFF BIG PINE KEY. 15 NM SOUTH OF SOMBRERO KEY LIGHT...OFF MARATHON. 17 NM SOUTHEAST OF ALLIGATOR REEF LIGHT...OFF ISLAMORADA. 13 NM SOUTHEAST OF MOLASSES REEF LIGHT...OFF KEY LARGO. 11 NM EAST OF CARYSFORT REEF LIGHT...OFF OCEAN REEF.

Tonight...East winds increasing to 15 to 20 knots. Seas 1 to 3 feet. Nearshore waters becoming choppy. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Tuesday...East winds near 15 knots. Seas 1 to 2 feet. Nearshore waters a moderate chop. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Tuesday Night...East winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 1 foot or less. Nearshore waters a light to moderate chop. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
