...A FLOOD WARNING FOR RAIN AND SNOWMELT REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115
PM MDT THURSDAY FOR LEWIS AND CLARK COUNTY...

As of Tuesday morning, flooding continues to impact portions of
Lewis and Clark County. The flooding is currently having the most
impacts in the Helena valley and in the Lincoln area. The flood
warning will remain in effect until impacts from the flooding have
decreased.

For the Helena valley, Tenmile Creek as started a small upward trend
as of Monday evening. The creek will most likely remain steady this
morning, then expect another rise late this afternoon through this
evening. The creek was near 4.2 feet this morning, and could rise to
between 4.3 feet, and 4.5 feet this afternoon. Possible rainfall
later in the week could also increase water rises.

In the Lincoln area, flooding continues to impact locations near the
Blackfoot River the most. With warm temperatures today, expect
increased snowpack runoff this afternoon and evening.

Reminder, some roadways are closed because of the flooding. Do not
drive around road closed signs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
