...A FLOOD WARNING FOR SNOWMELT REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 PM PDT
FRIDAY FOR NORTH CENTRAL STEVENS AND NORTHEASTERN FERRY COUNTIES...

At 141 PM PDT, flood waters along the Kettle River from Lauier to
the river`s confluence with the Columbia River have receded.
Forecast warm temperatures will accelerate snowmelt in the region
which will recharge this flooding by the end of this week.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Lauier, Goldstake, Orient, Barstow and Boyds.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
